SWS Member Information

The Sierra Watercolor Society is an active and popular organization enjoyed by nearly 200 members and guests. Numerous members volunteer their time as Board Members, Chairpersons, Art Angels, and multiple other activities to make SWS a successful and sharing society.

Five meetings are held annually, as well as a Christmas party event for members and the public.

Accepted to the permanent collection of the United States Coast Guard. The inaugral exhibition of the 2011 collection to be held at the Salmagundi Club, New York City, July 3 - July 15, 2011. After July, the Coast Guard's traveling art collection will be exhibited nationwide.

American Frame Alliance Program

SWS partners with the American Frame Corp. in the Alliance Program.

All of our SWS members who order frames and other supplies from American Frame will enable SWS to receive a quarterly refund check. This refund is based on 5% of all orders our members place and will be used by SWS as one of the many awards given out at the judged Balloon Race Exhibit in September.

Members are encouraged to consider ordering their framing supplies through American Frame. Their website is www.americanframe.com

Magazine Discounts
