CHALLENGES ARE HELD AT EACH GENERAL MEETING,
​AND ALL MEMBERS MAY PARTICIPATE FOR FREE.

When voting, please consider the Rules set for this Challenge: 
​THEME: ​Utopia, Shangri la, Paradise”
What does one of these conjure up for you? Paint it -Psychologists say: #1- you must face the problem (we did with “Alone or Lonely”)#2- then do something HAPPY. (I hope you all have done this).Now look forward to the ultimate HAPPY: A place you love, a place you have never been but know it would be "IT”, an event, perfecting a sport, imagining the perfect house or city, or the ultimate painting
VOTING: This is an online challenge for SWS members.

​Voting closes JAN 14 at midnight
RULES: Entries will not be accepted unless they meet the following Challenge rules exactly - NO EXCEPTIONS
  1. Do not sign your painting.
  2. Entries must fit the theme.
  3. Entries must be matted (they do not need to be framed).
  4. Entries may only be submitted into one Challenge.You may not enter a challenge painting into a second Challenge, even if it fits the theme.
  5. Entries must be new, having been painted specifically for the Challenge.
  6. Entries cannot have been shown in an exhibit prior to the Challenge
​No ballot stuffing: More than 2 votes from the same IP address will not be counted in the votes. 
If you have more than 2 people living in a household who all which to vote, please contact 
ronnierector@yahoo.com so she can make allowances for the added votes.

To thank Abstract Realist Barbara Necchi for her October 2020 Zoom Critique:Paint from your imagination, or take one of your old realistic paintings (OK to break the rules here with an exhibit or challenge entry) and abstract it, but if you choose a magazine photo or a famous painting, you may not be able to exhibit or sell it.
